Gauss Malware Facts

The latest "superstar" malware is Gauss, which you may have read about - so should you be concerned? Probably not, as it seems to have been directed towards Middle East counties. Unless you live or work there, or have visited recently, the risk should be low. The primary target seems to be 32-bit versions of Windows XP, and most antivirus software should be able to detect and clean it. You can also run a web based check from Kaspersky Antivirus; one of the signatures of an infection is the installation of a particular font, of all things.
