Which Version Of Android?

The Android operating system is very popular, and is used in both phones and tablets, like Apple's iOS operating system. The Linux-based OS is developed by Google, and there are many versions floating around; some would say too many, and refer to this phenomenon as "fragmentation". Nevertheless, the most widely used version of Android currently is one from 2010, version 2.3.x, also known as Gingerbread. The latest version, 4.1 Jellybean, is currently used by less that 1% of devices.
