Chrome Support For "Do Not Track" Coming

Google's Chrome browser has finally added support for "do not track", at least to it's developer builds - so a generally-available version with this feature should be with us soon. Other browsers already have this and Chrome has had plugins supporting it, but this version will be integrated. It's just a shame that the promise of the feature does not seem to be quite was hoped; that is, a straightforward way for John Q. Public to "opt out" of being actively tracked by advertisers. The concept seems to have become mired in double-speak and infighting in what was supposed to be a voluntary accommodation by the advertisers to those who requested it.
