Out-Of-Band Patch For Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8

It's been a crazy couple of weeks with IE and Java patches flying around. The latest from Microsoft is a fix for their last fix - just take my word for it. This patches some "critical" vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer versions 6, 7 and 8 (these would most likely be Windows XP systems) - that's why this is being released outside the usual "Patch Tuesday" schedule. If you already installed the recent "FixIt" patch from Microsoft, you don't have to uninstall it. The new fix should arrive via Windows Updates if it's set to check for updates (the default setting).  If you have Windows 7 and are still running with IE 8, you should upgrade to IE 9 - it is not affected by this (nor is IE 10, which is part of Windows 8). A lot of numbers, I know...
