Firefox Modern For Windows 8

The new Windows 8 User Interface (UI) was originally called "Metro", but is now referred to as the "Modern" UI. Window RT (the version of Windows 8 that runs only on tablet hardware) only runs Modern Apps, whereas Windows 8 (the "regular" computer version) can run both Modern Apps and most existing traditional Windows programs. Because Microsoft Windows has such a huge user base, many software companies want to get Modern UI versions of their products out there - and Firefox will probably be the first 3rd party browser for Windows 8 available as a Modern App; there is already a "build" available, although the final version will be a little while yet. You can be sure Google's Chrome browser won't be far behind. InstantFundas has the scoop.
