Smart Cane From Fujitsu

This is not like the "Hurry-Cane" you see on TV, but rather a "smart"  cane (or walking stick) from Japanese technology company Fujitsu. Japan has a rapidly aging population, although this device could be useful to anyone who needs some help with their mobility. The cane features things like GPS and wireless connectivity. It can help with directions and monitor the user's vital signs too, and can even alert emergency services. The prototype device has has a simplified interface featuring LEDs, to make it easier to use for those with little experience of  computer technology. How about that?
