Fake Antivirus, Fake Tech Support

One category of malware that is doing the rounds is fake antivirus software - it's not antivirus software at all, but informs you that your system is infected and tries to trick you into forking over credit card information to fix things (after suitably disabling your PC first, of course). While this is troublesome, most people tend not to comply but rather try to get help elsewhere to remove whatever the problem is (in this case the "antivirus" software itself). So, a new spin is to provide a "customer support" number where you can call for help. This number is bogus too, and again the idea is to trick you into paying the "support" representative to clean your computer. Pretty skeevy.
