My OS Merry-Go-Round

I have left Windows 8 behind for the second time, and have returned to Linux Mint. People (okay, mostly my wife) sometimes ask why I keep hopping around between operating systems - something that most "normal" people would never even think of doing. It's not that there was anything horribly wrong with Windows 8; while I never did get entirely comfortable with the Apps vs Desktop Programs thing, it worked fine. It's just that I get bored. "Bored" may not be exactly the right word, but it's close enough. I also like Linux Mint, and version 15 now works better with my particular laptop - the previous Mint release had a problem with my video card, which is why I went back to Windows for six months or so. Anyway, Mint is free to download and use, it's working well, and I am a happy camper once again - proving that it doesn't take much to amuse me.

Update -  two days later, I replaced Linux Mint 15 (which was working fine) with Zorin OS 7, another Ubuntu-based distribution. There's something wrong with me...
