When Browsers Go A Bit Wobbly

The Internet browser is the main way you connect to the web, and is a front line of sorts. Because of that, any browser can get bodged up, either by malware messing with the settings, or just from misbehaving plugins and the like. Sometimes, it may make sense to just reset your browser and "make it fresh" again. In most cases, the reset will put settings back to defaults and usually can be done without losing your favorites or bookmarks. Both Firefox and Internet Explorer (IE) have reset functions, as does Chrome (version 29 and later).
For Internet Explorer version 8 and up, see here for details (how to do it, and what it does)

For Firefox version 13 and up, see here for details.

For Google Chrome version 29 and up, see here for more information.
