Firing Up Amazon's Fire TV

Well, I don't know if we actually need another set-top streaming media device, but we have one now, courtesy of Amazon. These are the new breed of devices that connect to your TV and allow you to view content other than the traditional cable or over-the-air shows, like the Roku, Apple TV, and Chromecast. Amazon has announced their $99 Amazon Fire TV, which not only plays content from subscription and free services such as Hulu and Amazon Prime, but provides things like "voice search" and also some gaming capability. It also appears to have decent hardware specifications for an inexpensive device -  and it's available now.
