Apple iOS 8 Update Problems

Apple mobile operating system version iOS 8 already has an update - and it has already been pulled by Apple. Version 8.0.1 reportedly caused at least a couple of issues for some iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users, although it did not seem to be a problem for iPhone 5 users who upgraded. The affected phones would no longer connect to the cell phone network, and the other issue caused the Touch ID fingerprint login to fail. The update is no longer available, but it you did already happen to update, you should be able to reverse it, as explained in this article from ZDNET. Expect Apple to release another version once they get this sorted out.

*Update* - the Apple "fix" if you already updated to 8.0.1 appears to be the same as the ZDNET one.
