US Households Cutting The (Phone) Cord

We hear a lot about "cutting the cord", referring to people leaving cable or satellite TV providers for streaming ones like Netflix and Hulu. However, US households are also cutting their telephone landlines in favor of cell phones. In the last dozen years, cell phone-only households have grown from just 3% to over 47%, and less than 10% of households now only have landlines.
