Hey, small Ford cars in the US should get less expensive! Ford is moving all small car production to Mexico, so that should mean savings for buyers in the US, right?
Yes, and monkeys might fly out of my nether regions. Just what the doctor order for Michigan though, eh?
“Over the next two to three years, we will have migrated all of our small-car production to Mexico and out of the United States,” CEO Mark Fields told investors in Dearborn, Mich., according to The Detroit Free Press.
Ford pledged earlier this year it would invest $1.6 billion in small-car production in Mexico.I'm sorry, but I can't help be irritated by that news, even though Ford is just following a lot of other auto makers.
