Ibuprofen, Other NSAIDS Increase Risk Of Cardiac Arrest

Ibuprofen and other NSAID class painkillers are now reported to be associated with a pretty substantial increased risk of cardiac arrest, in a new study from the European Society of Cardiology.

I use Ibuprofen myself from time to time, as it seems to work well for the various aches and pains that sometimes show up, and I don't want to take more Aspirin as I am already using daily low-dose Aspirin.
As a result, some researchers are calling for ibuprofen to be made a prescription drug, which would help ensure that patients only take it when needed, that they’re made explicitly away of the potential risk, and that those with high risk factors — such as cardiovascular disease — can be directed to an alternative drug instead.
